Day 5 - South Twin Lake, Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, Oregon

No riding today, just had fun with my mom exploring together.

The best lake, hands down, was South Twin, it’s small, clear and beautiful.  We walked the mile loop around its’ banks and ate lunch, this is one we would both go back to, they have cabins, a restaurant and we got to see an Osprey dive into the water for it’s lunch!   Our exploring took us the remainder of the way down Cascade Lakes Highway all the way to Odell Lake, we both prefer the Northern portion of this Scenic Byway, the mountain views of Mt. Bachelor and the Three Sisters just can't be beat.
