Drank a couple of beers with a really wonderful group/family last night. They even tried to feed me dinner...but I was still full from that huge ice cream. They are the type of people that are gonna make my trip priceless, I had a great time visiting. Thank you!
Got up early to explore Lassen. It’s a gorgeous park. Hiked Kings Creek to Bumpass Hell which was simply amazing.
The sun and elevation really took it out of me though so when I was finished with the hike, do y’know where I headed? To the first hotel I could find! Staying in Chester, CA at the Antlers Motel, it’s been remodeled and is super clean. I’ve got all the lights on, the AC on, the TV on, used clean fresh towels and ordered a pizza. mmmmmm. heaven.
